What Gasket Is This?????

i took the intake manifold off of my 2.9L recently and the only way to get new gaskets was to buy a set of gaskets. i got a throttle body gasket, exhaust manifold, air bypass sensor, and the intake manifold gaskets.

however i can't figure out what this one goes to.

it is roughly 7 inches by 3 inches

If you bought a complete gasket kit (which I did for one of my 2.9's long ago), it comes with every possible gasket....

Including the gasket for mounting a throttle body to an intake for the Scorpio 2.9 (Twin throttle body intake, just like the big trucks). It's likely that's what the gasket you're showing is.

ok, well i only have the single throttle body intake, i'll hold on to it as a just in case......thanks for the ID

yup, Lil-blue is right, dual tube TB gasket.

lil blue ford has it correct, its for the throttle body on this intake (scorpio 2.9)

lol, I held onto mine but gave up holding my breath trying to get my hands on a scorpio intake... lol
