Which swap would be a better choice a 5.0 with an AOD or a 4.6 with a 4r70w i am not looking to be stupid fast it will be a daily driver i want about 300hp and decent fuel economy but on a tight budget. any help will be appreciated thanks

general consensus is: 5.0/AOD. Easy to get 300 hp and pretty reliable still.

If this is going into your '94, then go with the 5.0/aod.

yes it will be going in my 94 it already had a 2.9 swap, i bought it like that, i like the v6 but i still like a v8 much better thanks for yalls input.

5.0/AOD will fit much better than the 4.6. The 4.6 is a lot wider engine than the 5.0
