I am looking to do a conversion from a 4wd to a 2wd can I do it on a current AT and put a 2wd manual trans on it? Will the manual bolt up to the engine and what would I need to do electronically except the backup lights and park sensor. Basically, I am looking for a donor truck 1998 and 1999 and am finding manu 4wd, AT perdominate, and I want a 2wd manual setup. BTW, this is not going into a ranger, so I don't care about actual fitment of the supports into the truck, it is going into a British TVR.
