Where to get vave body rebuild kit for hard shifting?

My 4L tranny is shifting hard. I'm thinking the valve body is stuck/needs cleaning. I've never done work on the internals of an automatic tranny, so how hard is it? Also, where can I get the kit?

Go to Ford. There is a complete "update" kit available for your transmission. It gives you everything your gonna need. All gaskets, springs etc. Last time I checked, it was about 140 bucks.
