If your a person of the colored vaRIETy, dont show up in Inglis. I lived in Dunnellon for a number of years, and Inglis and Yankeetown had a name for being "above the law" in that respect. I personally think its bullshit, I just dont wanna see any TRSers have to deal with that kinda crap. There is a place called Morriston(from the movie Rosewood) not far from Inglis up hwy 40 that they used to be a private property mud hole open to the public, 5.00 a truck. I think they closed it down though. However you can still get in if you can find your way there.

Your only 40 minutes form the Ocala National Forest, good camping and offroading there.

Oh yeah before I forget, from Inglis take HWY40 east till you get to CR336, Go a few miles and then take a right on CR337 Both of these roads have entrances to Goethe National Forest. Awesome offroading and Hunting grounds. Massive amounts of Pigs for a good mudhole BBQ

unfortunately, that's how it is in a good part of "old" florida. rumor has it that hudson (where i live) was founded and named after a prominent KKK member back in the late 1800s/early 1900s. i haven't found nor heard any proof of that rumor, though.

i'm not gonna say that i'm perfect and a true non-racist, i've had enough bad encounters with people of the "black persuasion" to build a decent prejudicial opinion of them. however, i'm open to be friendly with anyone, regardless or race or background. i'm just going to the event to have a good time, not to start any problems. if there's black folk there, then so be it lol i'm sure i'll pound down a beer or two with 'em and shoot the shit with 'em.
