yes, 97s should bolt right on to your stock ranger seat tracks. i had a pair of 96 seats in mine, then i switched to 2001 which still fit but i had to drill 2 new holes to get the seat positioned correctly so i wasnt steering with my teeth. the seats didnt sit too much lower, but my legs had to get used to the thigh support that the 96s had because being a manual trans i do alot of foot work.
