just to let you know i got this PM as a reply to an ad i guess i placed here you may want to alert the troops about this kind of thing and ban this member cause this is clearly one of them scams going around:

Hello

I am interested in buying the ranger camper top that you have placed for sell now, and I would want to enquire about the present condition of the above mentioned, as well as some detail about you. I expect this timely enough.

As for the payment, I would need you to get back in touch with the last asking price as I will be paying with a certified cheque.

Lastly, please forward to me your full company's (or house address, telephone and fax) details as I will subsequently prefer reaching you through these facilities.

Yours interestingly,

Raymond Griffiths

no conspiracy, just, its TRS... we're kinda maybe big, but not like EBAY big or CRAIGSLIST big.. and scammers are taking the time to sign up here on a very specific forum, and try and scam.. its seems like theres better forums to try and scam on.

i always love the craigslist scammers i get.. its always the same, they want to know if the item 'still acquirable', 'in what present condition', and my 'best price'... my ads always include big pics, and a detailed description..

its sooo easy to spot these guys, i love the new public-service tv commercials they have about people trying 'internet fake check scams' in person, the one with the guy on the bus.. "you have won a great abundance of magnitude of money" LOL cracks me up

exact quote:
"You have won a great abundance and magnitude of money. All I need to transact this transaction is a small transaction fee to be required. Simply cash this check - a portion of your winnings - and pay the fee, then I will effect payment swiftly..."

lol im up so late and doing do much work for nothing.. heres a youtube link to the video:
