I am going to do a pillar pod gauge setup. I have picked what style Autometer gauges I want to get, Carbon Fiber mechanical. What actual gauges do you recommend? I was thinking oil pressure and voltage.

Are you going with the 3 or 2 gauge piller? I have oil pressure and temperature in mine which is only for 2. I would like to get rid of the temperature and put in a air / fuel mixture but that's just me.
 
I am getting a 2 for stuffforyourranger.com. I am going to put it below my oh snap handle. Which means I will have to move my GPS unit as well. Oh well.
 
i dont know bout your year but mine already has oil pressure and water temp and batt voltage. i realize they aren't the best but they do the job. if you are happy with the way they work i would suggest other gauges that you don't have such as air fuel, oil temp, air temp, tranny temp, or even vacuun if you really wanted to on a n/a truck.
 
The factory gauges ain't worth a flyin f***. They are more or less a general idea of whatever they are suppose to represent. Once you have good gauges in you will see how much the dash doesn't tell you.

That being said water temp, and oil press are the two most important gauges. I run the Autometer Phantom series in my truck, I can actually see my thermostat open and close on my temp gauge, as where the dash just points at "R" in Normal.
