Has anybody ever tried the short 1.5-2.5 ttb drop brackets they sell at jc whitney? I cant find stx brackets so is this the next best thing?

Sorry to side step your question, but why run 2" drop brackets? You can Put in 2" lift springs without having to install drop brackets at all.

i would go with rancho's 2.5" drops before I used anything from TC and rancho has its fair share of problems.

i havent heard any bad about the tuff country brackets just the springs are stiff

I have ran both. the TC brackets cracked in even more places than my ranchos, when I beefed up the TC's they still cracked. The rachos with a little finness worked just fine.

I used Skyjacker 2.5 - 3" coils and Superlift camber adjusters on a Mazda Navajo with TTB - (had Skyjacker add-a-leafs in the rear.) It worked great! It had an incredible ride on and off road and with the large fender wells - it had room for 32's (33's might have even fit?)

I considered Tuff Country brackets but decided I really did not need them...

Hope this helps.

Do you have a part # for those skyjacker coils? I can only find 1-2" or 4" coils from skyjacker?
