Anyone from NE planning on going down to this? Just wondering as it would be cool to plan in advance and all ride down together.

Let me know....

It looks like it is going to be around the middle of July 2009 in Pigeon Forge, TN. It's kind of far off but the planning has already started and I thought it would be good to organize something in advance. Check out this link:

OK. Here's what I'm thinking...those of us form northern NE could probably all meet outside of boston and hop on the Mass Pike, head on down through Conn. and NY, NJ, PA, and meet up with any members in those states. It's about 1000 miles and 15 hours from boston, so we could probably drive straight through (or not, i'm not opposed to grabbing a few hours sleep in the truck!) I'd like to get a head count on who's thinking about going.

If I can talk the wife into going, we'll be there! We'd probably take the whole week off and head down earlier though... gettin' too old for that many hours on the road! Maybe head down Monday and stop halfway for the night, then finish the trip on Tuesday. Looks like there's plenty of stuff to do around there. At least we have lots of time to plan... keep me in the loop please?

what about a stop in philly, id say ill meet you guys in nyc but the hour and a half drive north just isnt worth it to go south
but philly would make it a good stop for me to get with you guys at.
let me know, cuz im deffinetly going if the $ is there(my boss can kiss my ass if he dont like me leaving)
and i also have a bad habit of getting lost in places iv been a million times,so people that are good with directons would get me there quicker

let me know id love to see a group of ranger rockin down the highway

Have your convoy pass through northern Jersey and I'm jumpin in. Seems like a much better idea than driving 600+ miles alone. I'm also dragging along 2 buddys w/ an Exploder and a B2. The thought of an RBV Convoy is just badass. Count me in.

i'll jump in on this , i live like five miles from exit 48A on I-90 in new york , it would be nice to travel with a whole convoy of RBV's

TN is far but for something like this its totally worth it. besides i gotta put some miles on the new 35s anyway.
i think i like Jim Ds plan best... making it a two day ride... it allows for margin of error. ie flat tires (slower trucks), radiator leaks (peeing), sleeping (sleeping), etc...

yea , a two day trip sounds good , take in to account all the possible things to go wrong , i may bring the sploder if i can get it done in time , so account for all the fuel stops and any other problems , 2 days sounds good

I am probable. My onle concern is how my 5.13s will do, maby if I throw some 37-38s on it she will cruise at highway speeds? I really would love to go

From northeast MA. Ipswich to be exact.

What will this anniversary consist of? Tennesee is a haul, a 15 hour driving day sounds like it will get tiresome. Can't say I've done more than like 6 a day in the drivers seat, though I'm sure I can go longer.

A half mile string of rangers and explorers would be a sight to see!

I'm gonna try to make it, but at this point it's totally up in the air... depends on what I have running at the time and what my finances are like.
