Automatic to manual conversion

I have an 01 with 2.5 in it and i was thinking of converting it to a manual trans, i wanted to see if anyone has done this swap and could give me an idea of what was involved? Thanks

pedal assemble from a 95-01(not sure on clutch type for duratechs) and the vss is the rear axle, atleast for my old 2.5 in my 2000, so any 2.3(97 down)/2.5 manual tranny should work, and a 99-early 01 PCM for a manual tranny(98 may work, but may not be compatible with the Air bag system, since it was updated in 99, and the Air bag computer system gets a vehicle identification voltage from it if i remember right, if not then you should be good
