well i have had a reoccuring front end problem that has not allowed me to get my truck inspected for over a year now. mostly because everytime i take it to a garage all they want to do is throw parts at it with no explination on what is wrong, just hoping eventually they get it right. So anyway I have decided to replace the upper control arm and ball joints, lower ball joints, sway bar links, and inner and outer tie rod ends for both the driverside and passenger side. I got them all for $160 shipped and they are greaseable unlike the stock equipment. My question is, i havent done anything like this yet and was wondering what kind of timeframe am i looking at to replace it all and do i need any special tools for the sway bar links? Thanks guys!

well i have all that replaced, and tried to do my own aliment everything seems good with that but i have a rubbing/grinding noise coming from the driverside wheel, it seem to be with the rotation of the tire. I just put a new hub assembly in her a few months back and i can't get any wiggle out of her. I don't realy know what else to check. if anyone could give me some suggestions on what it could be.

Also on a different note, since all that i have been having trouble with those flaxible splash guards inside the wheel well. I dont know how they were before i removed them, didn't think much of it at the time. now they flop around a little and i had some smoke pouring out of the wheel well from the driverside one rubbing the tire. can anybody post a pic or two for how they are suppost to be?
