ok im putting a 1971 302 into my 95 ranger and it came with a c4 auto... i was wondering what tranny would fit thats a granny low 4 speed? like the np435 i believe the transfer case is a dana 20 not sure anyone with some answers please reply asap! :)

the 302, tranny, xfer case is all from the same year i belive .. 1971

also im wondering if i could take my 5 speed tranny out of my 95 ranger (its for the 2.3l) and put it into my 2001 4.0 ranger?

You could use a t18 for a granny low 4 spd.

As for the 5spd fitting behind the 4.0L, nope.

what year T18 should i go for.. because at the local junkyard theres a 77 f-350 duelie with a 4 speed in it i think its a np435... and would the T18 bolt right up to the 302? if i take a bellhousing with it? the engine the 77 f350 has is like a 327 or 389 or somthing like that
