Title pretty much says it. I picked up a Haynes, Ford Ranger, 93-08. If anyone needs something from here I'll be happy to tell you. I'm bored and I've received so much help from this site so i thought this is the least i could do to give back:icon_cheers:

whats the square root of PI

sorry, bad joke.

1.77245385....ah I'm glad math/calculus is over with:thefinger:

lol sorry I couldn't resist.

i have one so wont be needing your services lol

Unfortunately, when it gets more technical, Chiltons or Haynes manuals suck. And I only speak from experience.

Haha no worries guys, It cost me like ten bucks and if I can help someone out with something great and if not I will take no offense

I got a couple of the Helms (im pretty sure they are Helms) service manuals. huge and detailed.

Whats the air speed of a heavy laden swallow flying into the wind from New York to Miami? Oh you mean ranger questions.

Well the a/c knob on my 93 4.0 ranger does not push in to turn the a/c on like my 92 did, my 92 you had to push in (push and click) to change from a/c to vent, but my 93 the button wont move. Is it supposed to be this way? Given that my air dont work, neither does the button, it also has a random wire coming from the compressor, So i dont think it's correct.

i got on for my bronco II and hardly ever use it find my self using other sources for wiring and etc

My opinion but auto repair manuals since the 80's are SHIT. Just look at a old Chilton's, I got a '68-72 Chilton, dude talk about learning, things like "Chilton time savers", pictures, diagrams and PART NUMBERS for special tools.

Haynes repair manuals are in general poorly written and their value to the professional repair/ service person are of little use due to the lack of specific content. The electrical wiring diagrams extending over multiple pages are confusing, poorly detailed, monochromatic.

When I need specific repair/service info I do not appreciate a section on "how to do body work and repainting"! When I need a section on air conditioning and it does not contain it, service info on how to repair an Alternator, Transmission, etc and I get a stupid statement to the effect that " this work is beyond the scope of this manual / home mechanic" I just want to tear the book to pieces and deep six it!!

Ask me anything, I have access to all the Ford shop manuals online from 90 and up.
