This is a good place to start. Check out the videos of the subs you might be interested in. I think the M A Audio HK series are very impressive. realmofexcursion.com

RE i think is to expensive for me but i havnt looked into it much but audiopipe seems afordable ...i have another question though would a 15" P2 give me more bass then a 12" type R i no the R is 500rms and the P2 is only 250rms but i was just wondering if the size would give it alot more bass. thanks for the help im just trying to decide what amp/sub combo im going to buy so its here before christmas

heres a elemental designs 12"
http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=31
its $100 shipped. if you call them, see if they can give you a package deal on a sub and box. i know for sure if you buy a sub and amp you save 15%(for example, a nine.2x amp and the 13kv.2 sub would be $318.75. a savings of $56.25.), but it couldnt hurt to call and ask about a sub and box.

this setup should give you the low end that your looking for. you should be able to find a local shop to build you a box for about the same price but you wont have to pay shipping. if you post your budget, i can help find better deals

here are a few vids i found

as far as their products go, i can only give my opinion of the nine.4 amp that i have. the a/b channels feed my components 100w of clean power. channels c/d are unloaded. i plan to either get a ed 9kv.2 or a cdt ef-80. they have great customer support. one big thing that really sold me is the 5 year warranty.
you can also search their forums to see others setups using the 13kv.2
