lockright snaps?

went up a 45 deg plus hill today to test out the new 5.13 gears and lockright in the d35 with the wheels pointing forward and heard a few snaps like the locker was unlocking . but the shafts didnt snap. wondering what would cause this. i did it again and heard just one snap and the front still locked??
 
Sounds like the locker is slipping. Are the springs on it still in place properly? (and not broken)? Are the teeth on the couplers in good condition? (not rounded off)? Is the clearance between the couplers correct?
 
thanks for the input junkie. i got them put in at a shop for 75 per hour so im gonna take it back if i get more of that.since i dont want to round off the teeth.
