So I picked up this 4WD 83 Ranger with a 302HO and C5 for $700. It had some small issues when I got it but now it's running good. Rev's are a little high and I'm always looking for improvement in things I like so... I've got this AOD transmission that's from an 85 Crown Vic. So I'm wondering if I can remove the tail from this transmission and use the Advance Adapters part that connects the AOD to the 1350 and have stuff fit like it does now? Or do I need an AOD made for 4WD?
