So after looking around on this site and others, it seems the only way to fit a dual din radio is to trim down the bezel, i'm fine with that, but am unsure how to secure the radio in. The install instructions which came with the radio JVC-KW-XG500 show using the car's mounting brackets to attach it with the screws provided, but unless I'm blind there would seem to be no mounting brackets, how should i go about securing it? any help appreciated, thanks.

Edit: Should probably mention that i have an '03

You need to get an install kit for the hu. It will have the brackets you need

Well if it has the metal sleve you can use that. And bend the tabs out but if your going double din. In the ranger it's a really tight fit. You'll have to go to an audio place for that kinda kit. You normally end up pulling the " radio/ ac nob" part of the dash off. And put it together. Then put it all back in as one part.
