I have a 2001 Ford Edge 2WD. I am tryin to do a SAS with 88 Bronco II Eddie Bower with lockin hubs. But never have done this. I am lookin for people that have done this or somethin close. I have the Mazda tranny and wanna know if the t-case in the bronco will work with my tranny. I also wanna do a leaf coversion if i can not a big fan of the coils. Also lookin to do this with out breakin the bank. I dont wanna here go buy a 4WD cause it wont solve my proublem.

I'm lost too :icon_confused:

'88 BII came with the notoriously weak D28 TTB axle.

i think he might have ment bronco and just added the II not thinking about it

An 88 bronco would still have TTB, not a solid axle tho....

I understand that it is confusing but i found a bronco II yes thats what i said with an SAS already done with D35 coversion already done. but its coils and dont wanna keep them just using the bronco as parts nothin else truck is been rolled over. And was wonderin if the this setup will work with my truck was not to vlear about it before but think i am know.

With a SAS and d35 conversion? Still not following you...

:worthless:

When you say a Dana 35 conversion I think the TTB 35, or the SLA 35, not a solid axle.

Edit:
It has a Jeep Dana 35 under it I'm guessing. If it is already setup with coils I don't see why you couldn't just get a set of buckets to install on the Ranger. Saves buying additional suspension pieces.

I under stand that but that is my last plan if I cant find an easy way or a prefabed kit for leaf springs.

Jeep Dana 35 is a rear axle not front.....

Dude....

It's not a SAS if it's got a D35 in the front, it's TTB.

There are no prefab kits for 98+ rangers mostly due to the fact that you've gotta convert to an actual steering box where stock to the truck is a steering rack.

It's a full on custom job with lots of awesome fab work. Search it up. There's only a hand ful of 98+ SAS'd trucks out there.

I think he's going for the first 98+ TTB front end.:dntknw::bling:
