Need help for presentation!

So i have to do a presentation at school. I have to show the class how to do something. Its got to be 4-6 minutes long so instead of doing a presentation on how to do a peanut butter sandwich i've decided to do a presentation on how to install a stereo. :headbang:

There is no rocket science to it done it before but i would like some tips so I could sound professional since this is speech class. So what would be good to know just in case there is some smart ass in class. Plus do you think this is a good topic? THANKS!!!!!!!

uhm, the best way to do a presentation like this is to do it with props/ a real life example... so it'd be hard to do that...

in my opinion at least.

I did a school presentation on how to pimp out an 88 ranger......

and I pulled my truck around to the classroom doors and had paperwork (from this sight, I just wasn't a member 5 years ago) and diagrams, and assistants to blow the aooga horn, crack on the cb, test the suspension, and rev up the straight pipes.

Well, i'm thinking of bringing in my head unit and go on from there. I can use pictures for the rest.

blow there mind with some grade A knitting skills haha, thad be strange yeah?

id talk about how to wire up subs and an amp and how to determine what wattage you want to run through them and how you can caluclate them... thats more intresting then a HU install...
or you could go with the HU install and talk about the way you can wire them and the varying degrees of lowvoltage output on the RCA's from unit to unit... or go over how the input voltage on most HU's is rated at 14 v continious for the output ratings on the spkr. leads and how the output wattage will vary from different input voltages?

but it depends on how it would relate within the context of the class i supppose.

sounds perfect then, make your self stand out with numbers and stuff... haha ... i think its a good generalization that for most everyone if you present something thats above some ones head they just tend to agree which gives you the advantage in a presentation..... haha unless its life threatning or life changing then they dig into the info...
