I saw a picture of this a while back, basically its a fullsize CB unit that a member here mounted in where the ashtray is on a Gen 2.
Anyone know who this is, or have any pictures of it?

I want to relocate my CB unit to there and could use some inspiration.

I mounted my satellite radio were the ashtray went(95 though). All my power outlets were consent on, so I split the on-with-key power wire going to my cd unit and hooked up a third outlet to it just for the satellite radio and hid it in behind where cd unit is. Nice and neat.

Doesn't appear to be an option on the 2nd gens(or early 3rd gen?) though, the ash tray & power outlets are one unit?

My new cb I installed yesterday was to big for the ashtray Idea ( I have the airbag switch next to it ). So I removed it completely and ran my wires and coax through it. The CB in the ashtray though looks awesome.

Buy a Uniden 510 or 520 CB and mount it in the same area with space to spare.

I have the cobra 25 NW classic with night watch so it's not small, but not to big either. Now to get the damn thing to transmit worth a darn.
