Hey folks. My girlfriend Leena is undergoing surgery right now for a kidney transplant. She has been suffering from Renal disease for quite some time now, and as of a few months ago it became "end-stage renal disease". It's really been a hell of a road for her. She is a serious trooper! honestly one of the toughest girls I've ever met, but if her body rejects this kidney......well it won't be good. If you could say a prayer for her I would greatly appreciate it.

Definately bud, my Grandmother had a kidney transplant and her body sadly rejected. I hope all goes well.
 
Thanks guys. Sorry to hear about your grandmother Tom. It's really rough when it hit's home like this. It's one of those things you never think about till it's in your face.

It's ok. I just hope your girlfriend pulls through. It's one of those things where you think it'll never happen to you or someone you know. I hope she does well. :icon_thumby:

You folks are awesome! Thanks for the prayers and support. She needs it pretty bad. Last night her body rejected the doner liver....I haven't heard anything since about 8 o'clock pm, and I'm not really sure whats going on at this point...All I can really do is sit and wait, hope and pray. Again thanks for the support fella's.
