We picked up a great deal on a roof mount light bar and 4 6" lights. The bar mounts to the gutter above the windows. I have two questions. How to most of you get the wiring out the top of the truck to roof mount bars? Anyone come up with a quick connect way to do this? We want to be able to remove the roof rack and disconnect the wriring.

I simply ran the wiring under the lightbar, then under my visor. From there, it goes behind the weatherstripping to the middle of the door, then into the engine bay. I use a "flat 4" trailer plug for a Q/D. I tuck it under the visor when I have the lightbar removed. I also replaced the clock in the overhead with a switch panel.

Thinking out loud... :icon_cheers::icon_twisted:
I have never done a roof bar but what about, since you want to make it removable, run the wires down the front door weather stripping. Put a connector under the corner of the Dash. OR if you have a side window run the wire through it, along the weather strip again and to a connector inside of the vehicle.

The connectors inside of the vehicle will be waterproofed by just being out of the weather.

Make sure to size the connector for the total amperage load of the lights, at 130 watts each these will draw 40+ amps.
