sure looks like the plug wires are running to the back of the motor to me ....but maybe im just seeing things

It looks like a Ford 429 or 460 based on the headers and bolting location.

I seen it in an old issue of 4 wheeler magazine in the readers rides, it has a 460.

look again. the headers are equal distance from each port. chevy motors have the 2 centers closer, so no its not a chevy. more than likeli to be a 460 or a 408 big block
