Ok so the back up lights on my Tahoe dont work. Ive been told that it is the back up light switch. I've been looking at parts online and all i find are ones for the manual trans. Mines an auto so what switches the lights on when it is put into reverse? I beleive that is the part I need. Thanks.

I *think* you'll want NAPA part # ECH NS6502 (http://www.napaonline.com/masterpages/NOLMaster.aspx?PageId=470&LineCode=ECH&PartNumber=NS6502&Description=Neutral+Safety+Switch)

Autozone has them too: DR4033 (http://www.autozone.com/autozone/catalog/parts/partsProduct.jsp?skuDescription=Duralast+/+Neutral+Safety+Switch&categoryDisplayName=Electrical+%26+Lighting&fromString=search&itemIdentifier=223292_0_2237_1277&productId=223292&sortType=&parentId=57-0&filterByKeyWord=neutral+safety+&isSearchByPartNumber=false&navValue=15700218&categoryNValue=15799999&fromWhere=&itemId=218-0&displayName=Neutral+Safety+Switch&store=648&searchText=neutral+safety+&brandName=Duralast)

I had a feeling thats what it was since that was the only thing I could find in the Haynes manual. I'll give it a shot, thanks John.
