User Name/log In issues

I visited the site for the first time in a while and to my surprise my user name was no longer recognized. After browsing through the forums for a while I learned that for some reason everyone has had to re-register. So I registered again and for some reason my email address has become my user name. I can find no way to change it. I would like to have it changed. Can you do this for me.

Also, you really need a method to contact the webmaster/admin privately.
