who has a 1st/2nd gen Black Ranger?

I would imagine the preferred colors would be red, gray or tan. Blue might be allowed but not recommended. Generally with black and white you have your choice of color for the interior.

My 84 had Red. The carpet had long since disappeared, but the dash, headliner, trim and seats were still the deep red color Ford used.
For Black Rangers, Red or Grey were the 2 most common. Red being the most. I don't recall ever seeing/hearing about Black paint with Tan or Blue interior.
Personally I think grey looks the best. The Red can be... overwhelming, at times.

I have the weirdest interior carpet in my Ranger, it's hard to describe. I just got home from work and its late and dark outside else I'd take a picture. The carpet appears to be missing from around the speakers on the rear deck, but the carpet below the rear window is red. However, further up in the cab there is a black, foam carpet that goes around the shifter and wraps around onto both floor boards for driver and passenger side...its in bad shape, pretty ratty and gross with many cracks and such in it. I have not yet pulled the bench seat out of this Ranger as I am still in the process of looking for new 60/40 seats, but once I do I'll know exactly what's the deal with this carpet. I'm def going to replace the full carpet with one from a junk yard. I found the carpet I want in red at the yard but it's from an extended cab so I'm sure the holes for the seat tracks will be in the wrong place as opposed to where they are drilled for the standard cab tracks. So, I guess I'll have to hunt for another junk yard which has a standard cab ranger.

I had a black 1st generation, with a tan interior. It was an "S" model, so it had the black rubber mat, but the vinyl bench, door panels and dash were tan. It was a nice looking color combo.

my doors are orange, the panel is black, the dashboard is black and the bottom steel part is orange, you can see a bit of it in the pic with the steering wheel, and my roof is orange on the inside (she used to be black and orange outside)
