Picked up from the dealership today!

Just picked it up today from the dealership, I know its stock but it won't be staying that way long :icon_thumby:

The dealership has a new SHO sitting in its showroom so I snaped a couple of pics. This car is big. It makes the 20" rims it is riding on look like 15's.

Awesome! You're gonna love it! Manual/auto? leather seats? It's weird seeing what appears to be an Fx4 that has no stickers! Weirdness! Also black hooks. Wonder what crazy things ford is doing? Or is the truck a 2010?

It is an 09 FX4......just had them remove the stickers before they detailed it and had them do a sprayin liner and shoot the rear wheels as well. As for the black toe hooks :icon_confused:

I didn't see one on the lot with chrome ones but I didn't go with the higher end package......crome covered mirrors, running boards. The interior is just the 2 tone cloth with the standard stereo system.....no sub woofer in the monster center consel.......oh and its an auto.

Very good looking truck! I vote for black headlights and stock wheels powdercoated black. That SHO is slick looking.

finally a taurus with some balls 350 horse v-6 paddle shift 6 speed auto thats all wheel drive and ill bet itll smoke all 4 if ya romp on the throttle and ford reccomends that it needs only good old 91 octane....oh an push button start.. sweet

thats for sure mwood, the SHO is a beast! I'm sure we will here more about them as soon as some people start drivinig them.

The plans are going to be basic for the rest of the year.......first I'm looking for some steel wheels and trying to decide on some real tires to handle the weather, a set of Torsen keys to get the nose off the ground, tonneau cover and maybe a clear bra for the nose....from 3M. I'm with you mud390 on the black headlights.....oh and most of all is to get rid of the FX4 grill and switch it for the sport grill!!!!!! I don't think I'll bother with powder coating the wheels, they don't look all that great to begin with.

I like the new Taurus, except for that section of the accent line behind the rear wheel. Especially on the right-hand side where it goes right through the fuel-filler door. But it's a very nice design.
