hey, i have a 1989 bronco II a4ld. 160k 3.73 gears 31x11.5015 locker in back.
the problem i am having is that when i start from a stop it has nothing...pedal to floor and 1200 rpm and no shifting. going uphill it never shifst and just stays at 3k rpm. its the same way if i manually put it in gear. even in low range it does basically the same thing. fluid is new...
is my torque converter gone?
or that vacuum modulaor?
please help.....
also i have a 88 tbird a4ld wiht 53 k on it>? is this just a strait swap? or do i need stuff off the other trans to make it work? i know i need the linkage for ny column shift.
thanks for all your help. - mike
