I'm not sure if my stereo is rigged but I figure it doesn't hurt to check.
91 ranger with stock stereo system, am/fm/cassette. It has a digital display that is kinda screwed up but I figure thats par for the course. THe issues that I have questions on are:
1. Does the stereo have any backlighting at all? When I turn on the lights at night the whole stereo is completely dark.
2. Is the stereo supposed to turn on when you pull the headlights switch out? With the truck shut off if I pull the switch out the stereo turns on.
3. What I can see of the stereo display stays on even after I shut off the truck. Is this normal?
