I am running a /93 xlt 4.0 L . Noticed today that my running lights aren't on. All the lights work fine just no running lights. Haynes shows a daytime running light module in the circuit. Anyone know where this thing is? And is it testable? Thx for the help

Have you checked your fuses? Thats the first thing I would check my 98 has blown the running light fuse 2 times and thats all it was. Just a thought

I will double check, they all looked good but I agree , check the simple stuff first. Still would like to know where the module is though.

Are you sure you have daytime running lights on that year truck?

DRL module is behind the grill on the ds.. Mine have gone out again. There are two related fuses in the cab fuse panel and one under the hood.Good luck.

We have a '94 Ranger XLT (built in '93). This year doesn't have DRL's.. my guess is yours never did, either.. unless it was a maybe a Canadian model.

I've got a 2003 XLT without running lights - theres not a relay, no fuse, nothing. You can add DRLs to the one I have (I found the OEM module on some website somewhere) but its listed in the owners manual as an optional piece of equipment. The empty fuse holders are there, but the module is not.
If your truck was designated to be sold in Canada, then it should have DRLs no matter what - those are not considered optional in that country.
