I have a 2000 4x4 but it is extremely hard to find lifts for that year. the majority if found is for up to year 97. i know up to 97 wasnt torsion bar front end so those are out. anyone know a good place to get a 3-4 inch lift for a reasonable price?

Your only options are the 4" Superlift($1500 new) and the 5" RCD coil-over conversion lift(currently non in production, $2500-3000 new), and a 3" Bodylift($200 new).

I've seen superlifts for around the $600-800 range selling used...gotmine for $450. RCD at about $800-1200 used. Bodylifts are so cheap you should just buy new and not deal with used.

the 4" superlift comes with new upper and lower control arms right?

no.

Both suspension systems I listed don't. They both come with new knuckles that bridge the larger gap between the upper and lower control arms after the LCA drops are installed.

so it drops the whole front cross member then, and you use most of the same components?

Both kits use diff drop brackets, lower control arm drops/crossmember drops, torsion bar drop on the superlift, new knuckles.

the stock x-member doesn't actually move, a new x-member is bolted to it.
