this swap is possible right? im tired of the dinky little mirrors on my 94 want to get some of the solid ones like on the 96+ exploders to minimize vibrations from bass and add a different look to the truck.
 
No, the Explorer mirrors will not fit on a Ranger. They are the same except for the mounting base.
 
well there anyway to mount the mirrors to the ranger base? or am i just pissing in the wind?
 
Why don't you just get a set of the mirrors off a Ranger?

thease the big metal ones your talking about? those are what i have, and im just in need of a change.

i know the other verison does exist on rangers but the truble is finding a set in the junkyard. rangers are rare.

Get them off any '95+ Ranger. There are tons of them.
 
yeah ive been searching for those for a while, but beleive it or not in the three or four junkers i go to ive only seen one modern ranger and it didnt have mirrors ..... =(
