i had a simialr setup in my old one, custom box where the jump seats used to be, some square kickers, forgot the models, 2 kenwood 1000 watt amps......i blew out more then a few solid rear windows before i got sick of it and put in a bullet proof slider window, which still bowed quite a bit when the bass would hit, had a alpine head unti, polk audio speakers all around(liquid cooled), best sounding system i have ever had

here is a pic if my first setup in the truck 2 12" memphis pr's in a sealed box
http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh44/notloudenuff/Picture071.jpg

this wasnt enough so it upgraded to a 15" memphis shp and put it in a ported box tuned to 40hz, it hit 140.3 at a usaci comp i entered. i won first place in two classes i entered, spl and sq
http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh44/notloudenuff/Picture160.jpg

heres me with both my trophies (im on the right) the other guy is my buddy he won 2 in sq and 3rd in spl
http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh44/notloudenuff/Picture188-1.jpg

that still wasn't enough for me so i bought another 15" shp,my current setup is
kenwood touch screen deck
memphis componants (front and rear)
memphis amp 4 the subs
memphis 4 ch amp for the interiors
audiocontrol 6 ch line driver
2 15" memphis shp's
7cf ported box tuned to 38hz
2 runs of 1/0 gauge wire
220 amp alt.

i haven't had a chance to get it metered yet (trucks put away for the winter) so i don't know how many db's im hitting yet

Ok, here's what I did for my sub:
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c146/jfbobo33/sub002.jpg

The box is made of OSB, nailed together with a lot of nails since it came apart once already. I basically measured and mocked it up with cardboard, then made a full cardboard model, took that apart and cut the pieces. The carpet is what was left over from the old box, so I used what I could. The sub is an Audiobahn 12" 1000w. You may be wondering about the amp, that's a Tsunami 4200w hidden inside the box, mounted on the wall of the box closest to the seat. I had to cut and fold over the seam where the where the floor joins the side of the truck (i think) to get the amp to fit, and it's tight, but it goes. The corner brackets are a little ugly, I may move them, but since I don't look at it all that often, I don't care.

Oh and yes, I removed the jumpseat. Where it is mounted, the box sticks out about 6-8" from the wall of the cab, so the one rear passenger still has plenty of room.

specs:
2- 15" dual voice coil subs
2000 watt lancer amp 2 channel bridged for 1000watts to each sub
stock mp3 player w/low output converter
box is unported with a 2.5" air passage behind the amp so that the subs push each other.

Caution not to break back windows.

Blaupunkt piezos and Logic 4 1/2 2-ways in the doors (separated by some crossovers)
Pioneer 6x7 3-ways in the rear doors
2 Kicker Comp C-8 in the back, approx 125w apiece from a 300w smack-brand 2-ch amp

If you count the multi-way speakers as multiple speakers, that's a total of 14.
It sounds pretty nice, but my favorite part is the integrated PSP housing for storing all my digital music. Sony's Atrac format means I can make full-length, full-quality albums about 50meg, total.
Hell, now I want to go for a drive-- THanks, guys!

Eclipse SW7200 12" sealed box
Eclipse SP5700 5x7 2way point source
JL 4x6 in the back, not sure what series they were

the setup sounds good, i went through about 6 different amp and sub combo's before i got this one. It sounds great for most of the music that i rock out too, but it is tweaked the best for metal. The other combo's i had: two MTX 12's then two 10's. tried 3 10's at one point:that didn't last for very long. Tried and Infinitie perfect, Rockfords, JLs, Alpines, and a few others but would have to say that imho i like the eclipse for what my needs are.

tad bit old of a thread but I figured I'd throw my 2 cents in. Heres a sketch of my future plans for a 97 ext cab ranger

http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo241/rjppunk/sketch.jpg

rough sketch I know and the scanner sucked so I had to use paint. essentially its a vented box taking up the majority of the rear cab with 2 vifa 10" drivers. Aftermarket bucket seats replacing the bench with an mdf console in between carpeted with maybe a full rang or mid bass driver. components in the doors im not sure if they will be 6.5" woofers or 6x8 yet with a 1" soft dome tweeter. A pioner avic f700bt head unit and two Alpine: MRV-T420 Amplifiers

i got a "dual" radio some cheap off brand radio from walmart that was in the truck when i bought it . its all right, ipod hookup, 2 stock sony premium sound 6x8's and in the back behind the jump seats i wired in 2 stereo speakers that i pulled off my room stereo, sound good enough for me. and it beats some of my friend systems, the pic is old, i made it look way better now.
