MSD Coil Packs

I have a '97 with a 2.3 and I want to up grade my coil packs, I have heard of people using the MSD 4-tower ones (that are made for a 4.6, I think) has anyone ever done this mod or know of someone that has, what is involved? will it plug into my factory wiring?

Don't bother buying those aftermarket packs. They aren't an upgrade, they actually are pretty much copies of the Ford packs. The Ford Packs are already very efficient and are hard to improve upon.

Yep, save your money. Unless, of course, you have a bad coil and you've found the MSD ones to be cheaper than factory coils.

do the 4.6 mustang coils use the same connector though? because MSD doesn't list the coils for the ranger. I've been curious about this too as my coil packs are starting to crack the outter caseing.
