my oil seal came off when i pulled out my front left axle. its the seal on the pig. how do you put it back on?? do you have to drop the pig??

Get a new seal, clean up the seal surface, and tap it back in with a hammer, you will probably have to go through the end of the axle beam (you have the axle shaft out anyway) with a long extension and socket that is large enough to drive it in.

its the seal that look like a axle boot with a spring around it, this is the one im talking about..
