Well, since I bought this thing, It has been slowly leaking antifreeze, and for the love of god, I cannot figure out where it's coming from.:icon_confused:

I just crawled under it, and there is antifreeze on the oil filter and oil drain plug. It seems like it's coming from the rear of the engine, but where would it be coming from? All the hoses are on the front of the engine right? They are all dry and clean, they are old, but they look ok. Underneath and around the waterpump looks clean and dry. but on the bottom of the oil pan, it is dirty and wet?

Any and ALL help would definately be appreciated. It leaks maybe a half gallon a month, which isnt bad, but it's gonna get expensive this winter. And the wife can't seem to figure out how to add antifreeze haha. Thanks guys/gals.

Damn, really. Well, that kinda makes sense, 'cause it is dirty on the backside. Hmm, do you have a link to a write up?

Also check the head gasket. You can see the seam where the head and block mate just under the exhaust manifold if you look through wheel well. The head gaskets sometimes leak coolant externally at this point.
