Bought '99 tail lights for my '04 because I prefer the three bulb system. I'm now planning the re-wire, but don't know what wire gauge to install from the brake pedal to the tail lights. Can anyone help here?

You don't need to run wires back to it. all the wires are back there, you just have to take the turn and stop wires from one dual filament bulb and make them go into two.

If you do need wire 12g would be fine.
