I just replaced the transmission on a 1992 Ranger. I put in a 1998 that matched. The transmission had no play and felt really sound. New throw out bearing and clutch. The old one had a bearing bad. The noise is in the lower speeds. I think something is not getting lube to it.Is there anything I can do? Detergent flush or some additive? Thanks

The manual trans lubricates the internals by splashing fluid from gear movement. Make sure the fluid level is correct and the correct fluid is used. If it is only making noise in lower gears it's probably countershaft assembly bearings.
