Ok, so i have some mcniel racing front fenders. I removed my stock fenders and the wheel well (plastic thing). Do I have to leave this off? I would rather not have all the dirt and water going up into my engine bay. and also, where should i mount my vacuum canister at? (small plastic vacuum sphere). Is there any alternative to the wheel well thing?

Edit: One last question, How big of a spacer should I get for my wheels? they are 35x12.5x17. I was thinking 2" becuase stock spacing would look weird.

I left mine in and trimmed the left over platic away. I will get some pics tomorrow night for you.

I didn't fully remove the inner fender, just trimmed them until they weren't closing the wheel well back in if that makes sense. I used thin rubber material (would prefer 3/16" solid as opposed to the drawer liner I have) and cut it to fit and fill in the gap.

I used the air body saw (think mini sawzall) in the pic, but a zip-disc or cutoff wheel in a grinder will work, even just a few pass's with a fresh blade in a razor knife should be enough to do the job.

Mikerod16, would ya mind posting some pics of the fenders when you get a chance? Mine are also McNeil's but have a much larger rise then most I've seen and would just like to compare.

Ill be installing them later today. Ill get pics once Im finished.

....Yeah Im riding fenderless for today lol :headbang:
