Ive heard good and bad but what are the options so far ive inly found jet chips but i hear mostly bad about them anyone have one of these themselfs and actually use it would be nice to hear from you.
I've used Jet & Super chips. They are good for a bone stock engine but the minute you add anything they become useless. Your best bet is to decide what you are going to do with power adders. Get all the stuff you want to do on paper or have them in hand. Ask around for someone with the know-how and a puter. Get all the serial numbers off your computer and let them burn a new program with your specs into it.
Jet & Super Chips are programmed for stock settings. Neither company offer custom burns anymore. Plus we both have OBD-I puters so a "programmer" is moot. If you get the right person that knows what they are doing they can burn a program into your puter to make it really nasty. It's not cheap but I've seen results on many cars.
Yea on hondas we used to soder a socket to the main board so we could plug the eprom chip in and out, how big of a difference did you notice with the jet chips? Does superchips also make one for a 93? Which would you think was the most noticable gain, i plan on keeping my engine stock just maintain it the best it can.
