Well I am in the middle of buying an 88 ford ranger 2.9l v6 from my aunt. This truck was my father from when I was around 7 till I was 18. It was supposed to be my first car, but other things came about. 4 years ago my dad sold it to my aunt for very cheap as she was in need of a ca. Ran for about a year, then they parked it. If you did not keep presser on the gas while in 1st gear (5speed) it would die. They had no money to fix it, so it has been sitting in their driveway every since.
I decided I wanted to buy it back and fix it up. Getting it basically for the price of DMV fees. Going to be slow going as I am a student and do not have much extra money, but I plan on dropping a 5.0 in it.
