I'm in the process of installing some skyjacker extended radius arms. Right now i'm stuck on the radius arm to i-beam bolts.

Anyone have any tips for getting these suckers out? An impact gun and lots of penetrating oil? Might have to buy a new impact gun. My canadian tire cheapo gun hasn't budged them.

Any help/tips is appreciated.

A really big breaker bar...and a pipe on the end of it.

Soak 'em with PB and use the impact, if that fails, get a BFH.

x2. those can be a reeeaall pain.

HEAT!!
Those bolts have Loctite on them from the factory.

Heat them up real good with a propane torch and they should come out much easier.

Pull the brakes the spindles and the axle shafts.

then going in through the "window" that the spindle mounts to with
your oxy-acetylene torch and heat the internal "nut"

As the heat it it'll smoke a bit, that's the loctite burning off
heat it until the smoke stops and the bolts usually come right out.
