my winter bomb(95 ranger) needs front end(D35) work. i have a D28 with new everything.has anyone ever replaced a D35 with a D28?? i would like to be able to use the 28

its possible, youll probably need new gears to match rear axle, id personaly just rebuild the 35 since its a more stout axle.

oookk, i see, i didnt read your post well enough. its your winter truck and you just wanna replace the 35 with the 28 cuz the 28 is practically brand new.. id say go for it since its just a DD. gears will most likely need change tho.
