Hi I have a 1992 ranger 2.3 litre four banger and ive heard it can be turbocharged. im very interested but not rich enough to just take it somewhere for the procedure. any info on the conversion would be a huge help. thanks,Corey

the N/A 2.3 cant hold much boost at all. 6 psi would be about it. if you can find a 84'-88' thunderbird 2.3l turbo couple motor, there practically a drop in except for like 5 wires you have to run.
the problem with the N/A motors are the pistons and rods, there just not strong enough. if you can find turbo coupe pistons and rods, you can put those in your motor, there forged. ive seen guys pushing close to 30psi with them.
