Hey guys i got a little problem with my 89 2.9. Truck has been sitting up for about a year or so now but ive been out to start it every so often. Well recently bout 6 months ago i found water in my fuel filter and replaced fuel filter and pump and before that the fpr went out and reaplced it as well. Went yesterday to get her moved and shell start and run great for about 4 seconds then die. Im having a feeling like its either a throttle position sensor or a idle air problem. Just wanted to get some imput and see whats work with someone else. You can also play with the throttle when it goes to quit and it runs bad but it will stay running, but when you let off the thottle or go wide open itll die. Im tryin to get this truck goin bc im thinking of selling her off. So any help would be appriciated, and thanks in advanced.
