Can anyone tell me the length of a new stock thrust bearing (#3) journal?
I'm trying to fix a 2.9 that my friends grandfather supposedly rebuilt for him
I could write for days listing the problems / stupidity I've encountered so far. 
I know the crank was turned .010 but not marked and the thrust is out of spec but I don't know if it's the bearing worn or if Grampa's machinist screwed up the thrust surfaces.
I know I could just get a set of bearings and check but it's an 70 mile round trip to the FLAP so I would really appreciate any help.
