howdy all, i just picked up an 88 ranger 4x4 from a buddy, its a 2.9 auto.
my question is it has a slipping trans right now, we do have a good trans and t-case from a 93 4.0L explorer sitting here complete with converter and all, would this be a direct bolt in for the rangers? i do have 90% of the parts to do a 5spd swap which i will do sometime this winter.
also the truck currently has the front suspension cut out for an sas but i will ask those ??? in the correct place.
