hey guys
im new to the forums and i was just trying to find out a lillte info on what time im a looking at as far as doing the wireing for this motor swap i already have a whole car a 1987 t coup i got the whole car for a grand and would like to put it in my ranger if any one has pics of there swaps i would love to see them and if you have any problems you ran into let me know what they might be so i know if its someyththing i want to tackle right away or do somemore research on

I'm in the same process you are right now. I just bought a turbo motor from a junkyard.

I think I'm a little further along than you are in the learning process. Start researching at www.turboford.net Theres a lot of smart 2.3T guys there, some with turborangers.

Basically you will use your ranger's existing wiring harness (assuming it's a fuel injected 2.3) and repin your computer connection to match the turbocoupe's computer. You'll have to rewire a couple things like the Vane Air Flow Meter and other stuff. It would definately serve you well to get complete engine control wiring diagrams for both vehicles. www.rangerpowersports.com has them that you can download.

Also DaveR on this site is a 2.3t guru. He know's his stuff, listen to his recomendations.
