I have an 8.8 i got last week and need to get a front end a lift kit so i can bolt it up and throw 33's on it...

im in dying need of new tires and dont want to invest much in temporary's and i found a good deal on some all terrains 31s with 70% tread... i looked at the tire fitment guide and says a 2 inch lift...

If i do coil spacers and a thicker leaf in the rear can i clear 31's enough until i get my new axles goin?

or will it rub way too bad?

if it wont fit... what would be the absolute cheapest way of achieving fitment of 31's?

i dont plan on wheeling just to drive it around for a bit?

lemme know asap

If you put the 31s on your stock wheels, you may be able to get away with running them on the street. Expect some rubbing as you pull into driveways however.

Cool thanks 4x4

Should i just get the 15 dollar coil spacer and a thicker leaf in the rear... it wont be mch money or work.. and should give me some extra room!

or do you suggest not to?

Im going to pick n pull today so someone please lemme know...

thanks!

Just put some washers under the front coils until its lifted 1.5- 2 inches. The 31s will probably fit in the back on your stock wheels.

i had a 85 ranger with stock suspen and bad body mounts and i had 30's on it and it . i also wheel the shit out of it only had alittle rub u will be fine

Agreed, washers (or spacers) and Explorer leaf springs will get you a quick 2" lift. You'll have to realign the frontend after you install the washers however.
